Welcome to The Quarters, where timeless elegance meets natural splendour. Our venue is surround by beautiful gardens and expansive lawns which provide a stunning backdrop for your special day. The Quarters is a year round wedding venue offering outdoor ceremonies and marquee receptions over the summer months to intimate autumn and winter weddings in front of the fires set each of the rooms of the house.
With the inhouse wedding planners and catering team your day will be planned and looked after seamlessly.
When walking into the house there you are greeted in the entrance hall with the open fires for Autumn / Winter weddings. The main reception room seats up to 64 comfortably or up to 120 for a cocktail style wedding reception. For a smaller weddings we have the Fine Dining Room where you can all sit together around one table in front of the fire.

MARQUEE WEDDINGS.
Riccarton House is set in 12 acres of beautiful grounds with the Marquee Lawn towards the back of the house. The trees create a very private an enclosed space for a beautiful ceremony, drinks and nibbles around the outdoor bar, and lawn games before flowing through into the marquee for the reception.
This is a very unique space centrally located in Christchurch, and as such dates are very limited for marquee events.
If you are considering a Marquee wedding we invite you to make a time to meet with our events team go discuss details. Each Marquee event is different and therefore we like to ensure that have all the correct details before presenting a quote.

HOMESTEAD WEDDINGS.
The Drawing room can accommodate up to 64 guests for a seated reception or up to 130 for a standing style reception which makes the most of the entire ground floor of the house & gorgeous outdoor spaces.
