The Quarters based in the beautiful Riccarton House is a centrally located venue, well appointed for off site board room meetings, larger private dinners or cocktail parties. Ample parking available with an onsite events team to look after all food and beverage needs. Ample parking and only 10 mins from Christchurch airport, set in expansive grounds surrounded by native bush it’s the perfect space to meet and then reset with a walk in the grounds.

Room Hire: Minimum spend of $800 for exclusive use from 8.30pm - 4pm
(Bookings outside these time is based on availability, extended time available)
Room features: Board room style seating for up to 24, open fire in the winter, air conditioning, side French doors for private room access, unlimited WIFI, 65” screen, whiteboard.
Take a break from the day and walk through the Native bush to refresh for the afternoon sessions.

TASTING EVENTS.
Whisky Tasting:
We love whisky and when we are not hosting corporates we are teaming up with our friends from Whisky Galore for an evening of whisky tasting around the fires.
After a welcome dram Whisky Galore staff will take you through a tasting session of 5 drams while you relax, enjoy the food and whisky. A perfect winter evening.

CORPORATE DINING.
A private homestead to host your colleagues or clients will be one to remember. Private dining for up to 24 in the Fine Dining Room or up to 64 in the Drawing Room. Either way we start the evenings with drinks and canapes in the Foyer around the fire, weather permitting, followed by a carefully curated menu and finished with “1856” espresso.
For large cocktail hosting, we open up the second floor of the house and guests enjoy the chance to peer inside the rooms and see how life was set in 1856, adding variety and interest.
